July’s Daily Facebook Live Meditation Links and Resources

We have been meditating daily on Facebook Live together since mid March, and I have to ask: How are you feeling? I am truly enjoying these daily moments of mental refresh. I started this journey as a way to help us all connect and slow down our minds for just a few minutes a day. With the onset of Covid-19 and #saferathome, sharing meditations via Facebook Live (every day at 12p pst) just felt right. Well, I am still going strong and you can watch them live or any time after on my Facebook page here: Jessica Kinni. I’m also posting links to the meditations for anyone who might want to do them on their own, and I will be compiling a list and updating it when possible with each meditation. I still can’t believe I started recording these in March! They have been broken down by monthly posts so you can scroll through my blog and find the entire archive. July 31st, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Friday Gratitude Meditation

Today we are doing a gratitude meditation, and we will be incorporating music into this one. I am loving sitting with music, and this particular gratitude meditation is one of my new favorites as different musical themes guides us to feelings of gratitude.

July 30th, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Body Scan Meditation and “How To”

For today's meditation we are going to do a quick and easy body scan. If you have an extra 5 min and want to add some relaxation to your day, I recommend you join us! Body scans are also easy to do on your own, watch, learn and enjoy! They are great to try any time of day to ease stress and tension, and relax your mind and body.

For today's meditation we will sit together with gentle music for quiet reflection. Short, easy and sure to calm your mind, I have been in the mood for a little background music in my meditation so I hope you enjoy this! Do you like to meditate to music or do you prefer silence? Join me for another Happy Hacks favorite! Friday Gratitude Meditations! Always a highlight to my week, I love closing the week out with a a moment or two of gratitude. The thing to remember is that some days it’s easier to feel gratitude than others, and that is OK! However, by creating a pattern in your brain of looking for moments of gratitude, you are creating a pattern of positive thinking and that is the ultimate Happy Hack!

Today’s meditation is a bit of an abrupt start as it was the “2nd take” we started our meditation and right as I completed the guided portion of the meditation and the music ramped up…my internet went out. So this link is a bit more self guided as I drop us right into some peaceful music and allow time for our minds to relax, decompress and quiet themselves.

July 14th, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Feeling into Ease Meditation

Yesterday’s meditation involved feeling into “Uneasiness” so today we will visit the other side of that coin and feel into “ease” - it’s a gentle reminder that we can allow things to be easy when we want to. It’s also something that I always need to remind myself of, how about you? The purpose behind Happy Hacks is about hacking MOMENTS oh happiness into your day! Not every moment may be perfect, but adding a moment of happy is a small thing that can lead to big results!

July 13th, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Feeling Through Uneasiness Meditation

Today we will start with a body scan and allow ourselves to sit with uncomfortability, noticing how we have the power to change uneasiness into ease and relaxation, even if only for a few moments inside of our minds. I challenge you to try this meditation with me, I think you will be glad that you did!

Today’s prompt comes from the Don Miguel Ruiz book entitled, “The Mastery of Love” and is a reminder that we can create a life of love. 

I am going to spend a few minutes sitting and reflecting on this passage today and for my meditation focus on love and weaving it into my life in every way possible! I hope you will join me!

July 10th, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Friday Gratitude Meditation Photo

Every Friday is Gratitude Friday, and this Friday I am grateful for my sweet 14yr old MinPin Bibi. Today she had a toothache so I had to take her to the vet, which because of Covid-19 restrictions took the majority of the day. That having been said, I apologize that I was not able to post a Friday Gratitude meditation today. Instead please enjoy this pic of my sweet girl Bibi and I’ll be back for next week’s gratitude meditation!

July 8th, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Meditation with Music

For today's meditation we are going to sit quietly together and enjoy a few minutes of mental relaxation aided by some calming music. I don't usually play music for the meditations, so I am interested to see if you enjoy this addition or prefer the silence! Join me today and let me know what you think!

Today’s meditation is called an “Attitude Meditation” and is from Victoria Gallagher, C.M.Ht’s book, “The Practical Law of Attraction." This meditation is a bit longer than we usually go, but it is excellent and I think it is absolutely worth the extra few minutes!

July 6th, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Power Nap Meditation

I started out feeling a little low energy today, so for today's meditation, let's take a power nap...in our minds! What better way to calm all of the chatter than to visualize a power nap! We will get recharged together, so get ready to hop into bed (in your mind at least) and charge up those internal batteries.

No prompt for today, but I hope you will sit and reflect on the meaning behind Independence Day. See you tomorrow and wishing everyone a safe and happy July 4th!

July 3rd, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: Friday Gratitude Meditation

Today we were able to get out of the house and go to the park, and let me tell you, with all of the Covid-19 restrictions in place, it was a real treat to have a change of scenery and some fresh air! So in honor of that, please enjoy this breezy, nature-filled meditation! I hope it gives you a bit of a nature fix! I recommend watching this meditation (rather than closing your eyes) that way you can enjoy the beauty of the park and allow your mind to decompress all at the same time.

July 2nd, 2020 - Watch on Facebook: 7 Minute Sitting in Silence Meditation

Today we will stretch ourselves just a little bit and rather than Meditate for 5 minutes, we are going to Meditate for 7min. I've noticed a lot of the posts in my social media feed today seem anxious and anxiety filled and thought maybe some of us could use a little extra time for a mental reset!
